NOPEC electric and natural gas aggregation
Hanover Township is a member of NOPEC, a nonprofit group of 240 Ohio communities that negotiates utility rates on behalf of its members. NOPEC also funds energy-efficiency grants for member communities.

Reporting a streetlight outage
Streetlights in the township are maintained by FirstEnergy, not by the township. Report an outage directly to them at 1-888-LIGHTSS (1-888-544-4877) and say "streetlight" after the greeting.
Have ready: the nearest house or cross street, the number on the utility pole, and what is wrong with the light.
